A voter crystallized the political landscape in American politics when she posed a question to VP Joe Biden during a recent town hall event hosted by CNN.
“I look out over my Biden sign in my front yard and i see a sea of trump flags and yard signs,” local businesswoman Susan Connors said. “And my question is what is your plan to build a bridge with voters from the opposing party to lead us forward towards the common future?”
“Well you’ve got it exactly right,” Biden’s answer begins.
Whoever wins in November is going to inherit a divided country, Biden continued. And that he plans on being “everyone’s president.”
The Trump campaign seized on the moment by tweeting out a clip of the exchange along with the caption, “President Trump is going to win Pennsylvania again!”
