Man Who Allegedly Shot Two Louisville Police Officers Charged with “Assault”

A man who is accused of shooting two Louisville police officers during Breonna Taylor demonstrations Wendesday night is being charged with with assault.

The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Larynzo Johnson, is being charged with two counts of assault in the first degree and 14 counts of wanton endangerment.

Witnesses say Johnson used a handgun to fire at police multiple times before fleeing.
