President Trump will continue to carry out his duties as President of the United States while recovering from Covid19, according to White House Physician Sean Conley.
Conley released a letter to the American people after Mr. Trump announced a positive diagnosis of Covid19 for both he and First Lady Melania Trump early in the morning hours today.
“The White House medical team and I will maintain a vigilant watch, and I appreciate the support provided by some of our country’s greatest medical professionals and institutions,” Conley wrote.
“Rest assured I expect the President to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering, and I will keep you updated on any future developments.”
Mr. Trump said that both he and the First Lady are to begin the quarantine process after testing positive.
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!
