District Court Judge Bars Voting Machines From Being “Wiped Clean” or Reset in Georgia

Headlines Politics U.S.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten has issued a court order barring voting machines allegedly involved in fraud from being reset in Union County, Georgia.

Poll workers had been scheduled to wipe or reset all data and bring counts back to zero on the machines tomorrow.

They are now ordered to “maintain the status quo and are temporarily enjoined from wiping or resetting any voting machines in the State of Georgia until further order of the Court,” according to Batten’s ruling.

The announcement was made on Twitter by Attorney Lin Wood. The ruling is part of Sidney Powell’s case against Georgia government officials alleging widespread voter fraud in the Nov. 3 election.
