It’s being alleged that the Primary Sub-Source (PSS) of the infamous Steele dossier is Igor Danchenk, a personal associate of former member of the National Security Council and impeachment witness, Fiona Hill.
The Steele dossier asserted collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russian government in attempting to rig the 2016 presidential election in favor of Mr. Trump. The report has proven to be completely baseless by U.S. intelligence services.
Danchenko grew up in Russia and came to the U.S. and attended Louisville University. He apparently worked with Fiona Hill while there. Danckenko is a lawyer and a translator by trade. The two also worked at the Brookings Institute together.
Yup, with Fiona Hill, one of the colleagues of Igor Danchenko at Brookings.

The connection is a potentially significant one.
Hill was a star witness in Congressman’s Adam Schiff’s impeachment proceedings while being a close associate of the person behind the Steele dossier, on which the initial FBI investigation into the Trump campaign was based. The FBI investiagation and subsequent Mueller probe would serve as the basis for the impeachment trial of the President.
