Contributions to Black Lives Matter Now Move Through Soros Funded Tides Foundation

Headlines Politics U.S.

Shortly after violent protests erupted in cities all over the country, The Gateway Pundit reported that the Black Lives Matter movement was raising money using ActBlue as a resource. ActBlue is a technology company that develops fundraising platforms for organizations and movements in exchange for a small processing fee on each donation made.

The Daily Caller confirmed those findings and reported that BLM is not a non-profit organization, and that non-profit organization Thousand Currents was saying that it provides ‘fiduciary oversight, financial management, and other administrative services” to BLM.

Conservative author and activist Candice Owens reported on the BLM/ActBlue relationship and was targeted by a “fact-checker.” Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch interceded and confirmed what Owens and GP reported.

GP then reported that Susan Rosenberg was serving on the board of Thousand Currents, as was listed on Wikipedia. (GP notes the Wikipedia link to Thousand Currents no longer seems to work.)

Susan Rosenberg was a member of the Weather Underground terrorist group, and authorities say she played a role in several domestic terrorist attacks. She was convicted for those roles in 1985 and was sentenced to 58 years in prison. She had only served 16 of them when she was pardoned by President Bill Clinton in 2001 on his very last day in office.

(It was shortly after Tucker Carlson’s expose on Rosenberg on his show and her role in BLM fundraising that Carlson’s head writer was forced to resign as a result of racists posts he had made on an Internet forum and Carlson was forced to take a long-planned vacation” from his show for several days.)

Perhaps wary of the optics of having BLM contributions funneled through ActBlue to an organization run by a convicted terrorist, Democrats and BLM apparently decided to make a change.

Any information that Rosenberg was on the board of Thousand Currents has been removed from their site.

Also, all the money Thousand Currents was receiving relating to BLM has been shifted to the Tides Center. The Tides Center is one of many organizations being funded by George Soros.

GP cites a Canadian researcher who paints the Soros connection to non-profit social organizations this way:

“There has been a common thread in the global communist movement since 1997 and it is a system that people have heard very little to nothing about. It is called “social economy”, an elaborate government-funded sector that produces very little in profits but consumes billions in tax dollars. Through government tax incentives, tax credits, grants, charities, foundations, non-profits, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the government has been siphoning off the taxpayer’s money to fund this social economy. There has been an elaborate money-laundering scheme designed by corporations and their foundations to offset profit margins by re-investing in their foundations, while at the same time lobbying and pushing for governmental policy changes in favour of the social economy. The Tides Foundation, a George Soros-funded organization, refers to “The Hybrid Universe” which is shown in Figure #1. The Hybrid Universeis defined by foundations and businesses bending governments to their will. The social economy is at the very heart of global mass migration. In simplest terms, Canadians are funding their own invasion.”

It’s clear the depth and breadth of the protests and violence witnessed all over the country are not spontaneous or organic. Instead they seem to be the culmination of years of planning and funding.
