Former Hunter Biden Business Associate Flips from Prison, Details Influence-Peddling Operations Run by Biden, Other Partners

A former business associate of Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, says Hunter and another partner used their access to the Obama administration to peddle influence to potential Chinese clients and investors.

As other have pointed out, these revelations are unrelated to nearly identical allegations made in a bombshell report in The New York Post last week.

The former associate, Bevan Cooney, says he, Hunter and a third associate, Devon Archer, discussed strengthening relations with “China Inc.” as part of a “new push on soft diplomacy for the Chinese.” Part of the scheme was securing “off the books” meetings with VP Joe Biden.

Cooney, who is currently serving time in prison for a 2016 investment scheme, believes he was the “fall guy” for that scheme while Hunter and Archer avoided responsibility. Archer was initially spared jail time in the case, but a federal appeals court reinstated his fraud conviction last week.
