Pennsylvania State Legislature Introduces Measure That Allows Them to Appoint Electoral College Voters as They See Fit

The Pennsylvania State Legislature has introduced a bill that gives the PA General Assembly sole discretion in appointing voters to the Electoral College.

Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano (R) said the measure is intended to allow the legislature to reassert its authority under the U.S. Constitution as the sole body with that authority.

It is a necessary step, said Mastriano, in light of the widespread voting irregularities that took place in the state during the Nov. 3 election.
