Pennsylvania Legislators Petition for Special Session on Voter Fraud – Dem Gov. Wolf: “It’s Time to Move On”

Headlines Politics U.S.

Pennsylvania state lawmakers have petitioned for a special session on election fraud but are currently being refused by the state’s governor Tom Wolf (D).

The PA state General Assembly adjourned last week and is not due back in session until the first Tuesday in January, which would be Jan. 5. Under PA law only the governor of the state can call a special emergency session of the legislature.

Such a session is necessary, lawmakers say, to hold “hearings relating to the issues raised during the 2020 elections and [consider] any and all remedial legislation necessary to ensure a fair, transparent, secure and reliable electoral process…”

Remarkably, Wolf sees “absolutely no reason” for a special session to be called. “We had a free and fair election and now it’s time to move on,” he tweeted.
