Last week, I asked that @realDonaldTrump instruct the Attorney General to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate election irregularities.
Now twenty-six Republican colleagues have joined me in calling for an independent investigation to restore faith in our elections!

Twenty-six congressional Republicans are calling for a special investigation into fraud conducted during the 2020 election.
The GOP’ers signed on to a letter written by Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) who requests President Trump instruct Attorney General Bill Barr to appoint a special prosecutor to look into voting irregularities across the nation.
“The Department of Justice has been asked on multiple occasions to launch an investigation into this matter, but inaction from the Department along with public comments made by the Attorney General indicate a lack willingness to investigate the irregularities your campaign and other elected officials across the nation have alleged,” the letter reads.
AG Barr has so far been reluctant to open significant inquiries into voter fraud.
