Headlines Politics U.S.

Congressman Andy Biggs of Arizona (R) says he will likely challenge votes in the Electoral College in January due to allegations of massive election fraud.

The news was broken by journalist Ryan Fournier on Twitter this morning.

“Rep. @RepAndyBiggsAZ said he will likely challenge the electoral college votes in January. Thank you, Congressman!” Fournier wrote.

Rep. Mo Brooks (R) of Alabama has also said he plans on challenging the results of the Electoral College.

While votes were cast this week for Joe Biden, a President-Elect is not officially designated until the U.S. House of Representatives votes to accept the votes of the Electoral College without objection.

That vote is scheduled to take place on Jan. 6.
