“So You Made a Vote for Someone Where Someone Did Not Vote?”, “I Did, Didn’t I?” – Georgia Election Supervisor Demonstrates Ease of Changing Votes

Headlines Politics U.S. Videos

An elections supervisor demonstrates the ease with which votes can be changed on ballot marking machines during the Nov. 3 election.

The video had been previously released and was presented as evidence by Georgia GOP election official Cathy Latham during a hearing before Georgia state legislators on Wednesday.

Latham would go on to outline the difficulty in ascertaining voter intent using only the QR codes created by some voting machines. She likened the process to using auto-correct on smartphones, which changes text the instant a user finishes typing and hits the “send” button.

“How do we know that that’s not happening in those ballot-marking machines?” Latham asked.

In the wake of this week’s hearing the Georgia state legislature has officially requested an audit of ballots in Fulton County, Georgia’s largest county.

You can watch the entire hearing below. Latham’s testimony begins at the 9-minute mark.
