Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger Gave Hackers Roadmap to Hack Voting Machines a Year Before the Election

Headlines Politics Technology U.S.

Georgia’s secretary of state Brad Raffensperger published what amounted to a roadmap for hackers to use to gain access to voting systems used in the state more than a year before the election.

Raffensperger published a Georgia Master Technical Evaluation of voting systems from Dominion, Smartmatic and ES&S. The information lays out every route a hacker would need to gain control of each technical component the systems use.

He also published a diagram that listed all of the components to the voting systems. It’s been reported that every one of the components is “hackable.”

Also confirmed in the information is that the systems are easily accessible either through internet connection or by using Bluetooth technology.
