Someone was caught on a hot mic during an event at the White House yesterday talking about accepting a “plea deal.” Speculation is that it was Joe Biden’s son Hunter.
“I just agreed to a plea sentence for uh…” the voice says before being cutoff.
It was revealed in October that the FBI is actively investigating Hunter Biden and his associates, and has been since 2019. The investigation is reportedly into allegations of money laundering.
“We have no comment, in keeping with our standard practice of neither confirming nor denying the existence of an investigation,” an FBI spokesperson told the Washington Examiner at the time.
The hot mic moment was picked up and posted by independent news outlet TruNews. It reported that an official in the White House communications department “declined to provide an explanation.”
