A new video analyzes Bill Gates’ transformation from tech mogul to one of the world’s most influential philanthropists.
Gates, co-founder and former CEO of Microsoft, stepped down from the board of the tech firm last year to dedicate more time to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the ch`aritable organization he founded in his and his wife’s names.
Bill Gates has become perhaps the world’s most noted philanthropist in recent years having donated more than $45 billion to charities since 1994. Since 1997 most of that giving has been done through the Gates Foundation. The effects of those contributions however have come under intense scrutiny in recent years.

The Gates foundation was asked to leave India after over 400,000 girls reportedly became paralyzed after receiving a vaccine for polio that it administered.
It is also under investigation in Nigeria, where allegations have been made that a $10 million bribe to parliamentary members was attempted in order to gain passage of a law that would allow technology companies access to citizens’ medical records.
Gates is also funding an initiative that has seen 750 million genetically altered mosquitoes released in the Florida keys in the U.S. The project, an experiment to test the viability of the insects as a vaccine-delivery system, has been ongoing for years.
And a controversial plan funded by Gates to test out the theory that “global warming can be stopped by spraying particles into the atmosphere” – a scheme that would effectively block out the sun – has been “quietly” moving forward.
The Gates foundation is also a major backer of research into messenger RNA technology, the controversial and as of yet unproven medical technology upon which the Covid19 vaccines are based. (Melinda Gates has said in the past she believes the first people to get the controversial vaccines should be African-Americans.)
Several doctors are speaking out about mRNA technology including Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, a physician based in Ohio that has spent 20 years studying vaccines and their adverse effects.
Bill Gates has been referred to as the world’s most powerful doctor and is treated as a head of state on the world stage despite not having any training or experience as a medical doctor or as an office holder. He claims his investments in charities, and especially in vaccine initiatives, have yielded a 20-to-1 return.
