51st Day of the Occupation – Are We Being Prepped for Permanent Troop Placement in Washington D.C.?

Headlines Politics U.S. Videos

Shortly after violence took place at the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington on Jan. 6 troops were moved into secure the grounds and the surrounding area.

National Guard troops from Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New York – as well as troops from the D.C. National Guard – deployed to Washington, D.C. The Secretary of the Army said troops would remain in the city for as many as 30 days but at least through the inauguration of Joe Biden on Jan. 20.

Since then additional troops have been called in and fencing with razor wire has been installed around both the Capitol Building and the White House. Fifty-one days after the initial unrest there are no straight answers as to when the people’s houses will be returned to the people.

“Leaks” that become public every few days or so seem to betray a concerted effort to prep the American people for the permanent “green-zoning” of the nation’s capital.

This week Yogananda Pittman said that threats have been received that say militia groups want to bomb the Capitol Building during Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address.

“We know that members of the militia groups that were present on January 6 have stated their desires that they want to blow up the Capitol and kill as many members as possible with a direct nexus to the State of the Union, which we know that date has not been identified,” Pittman said. “So based on that information, we think that it’s prudent that Capitol Police maintain its enhanced and robust security posture until we address those vulnerabilities going forward.”

But Joe Biden has not committed to delivering a State of the Union address and it’s unclear whether he has even been invited by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to do so, as the Constitution calls for.

Members of Congress have said that there are threats coming from Trump supporters surrounding March 4, the date U.S. Presidents were once inaugurated. But conservative corners of the internet are replete with warnings from influencers telling supporters of President Trump to steer clear not just of D.C. but even their own state capitals.

The ongoing nebulousness surrounding the troops’ stated mission, whose orders exactly they’ve been deployed on and how long the deployment will last may be deliberate.

This week we learned that members of the Biden administration called for the drafting of plans for troops to remain in the capital for months – and perhaps longer – over a month ago.

“If it’s not possible to sustain at the current level with [National Guard] personnel, we need to establish the number of NG personnel ([Washington, D.C. National Guard] and out-of-state) we can sustain for an extended period – at least through Fall 2021 – and understand additional options for providing DoD support, to include use of reserve personnel, as well as active component.” The qualifier “at least” in the timeline above jumps out.

The above excerpt was from an email written by Robert Salesses, who is performing the duties of the Assistant Secretary of Defense of Homeland Defense and Global Security. It was sent on January 20, 2021, the day Joe Biden was inaugurated.

Asked why she believes Washington, D.C. has been fortified with troops in recent weeks Maria Strollo Zack, head of Nations in Action™, the government accountability group working with Italian authorities on exposing the truth about ItalyGate, said she thinks it’s because corrupt politicians know they have been discovered.

“I’m sure it’s because they know we know,” Strollo-Zack said. “Let me make it very clear for everyone. It is a handful – a miniscule amount of people – of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats [responsible for hijacking the country]. And those are the people America will come for.”

  1. I’m going to make the argument that the capital is under the authority of the U.S. Army and that the only civilian authority the Army recognizes is President Trump.
    1. In the Pentagon briefing of 25 Jan. John Whitley, Acting Secretary of the Army, stated that the National Guard is deployed at the request of four law-enforcement agencies, and that it is under the command of the Army. https://www.c-span.org/video/?508316-1/pentagon-briefing-national-guard-stationed-washington-dc
    2. Newt Gingrich was in Rome during the election because his wife was the ambassador the the Vatican. He knows very well what is happening, and so does Sean Hannity. They are acting in order to make the Democrats look foolish and weak. However, the National Guard is not in DC to protect the corrupt, and 4,000 of the soldiers are deputized U.S. Marshals.
    3. In the panic that ensued when Congress learned that the Insurrection Act had been invoked by Pres. Trump, Congress quickly approved a known criminal as Secretary of Defense. Gen. Lloyd Austin called for a sixty-day “stand-down” of the Armed Forces over his concern about “extremism” (support for the president) in the military. That “stand-down” never materialized. Instead, the several branches agreed that for one day during a time span of sixty days they would instruct commanding officers to hold briefings with the troops on the subject of “extremism.” Austin wanted the military as a whole to stand down for sixty days; it didn’t happen. He has no authority.
    4. The official Twitter accounts of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Space Force reportedly still follow a Trump-related account (perhaps @POTUS45) but don’t follow Joe Biden. The Armed Forces have posted messages featuring the number 17 and other indications that their loyalty lies with the real president.

    1. The Military Times is a private, pro-global capitalist news organization. Here is the headline from Feb. 3: “Defense secretary orders 60-day stand-down to confront extremism in the military.” (https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2021/02/03/defense-secretary-orders-60-day-stand-down-to-confront-extremism-in-the-military/)

The headline proclaims that the Secretary of Defense gave an order. But the first sentence states, ” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has called on the services to conduct a 60-day stand-down on the issue of extremism in the military . . .”

“Austin held a meeting Wednesday of the service secretaries and Joint Chiefs, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters, to ask them about their concerns and ideas for improving the situation.”

So, the headline states it’s an order, but the first paragraph states that Austin met with the secretaries and the joint chiefs of staff to ASK them what they thought.

This was the response of the U.S. Armed Forces as of Feb. 28: “Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin ordered every command in the Department of Defense to take a one-day break from normal operations to lead a discussion on extremism in the military. The order was signed Feb. 5 and must be completed by April 6.”

“Joint Base Lewis-McChord’s Army and Air Force units are still working out the details of what the Department of Defense’s stand-down order will look like for their service members.”
