Day 69 of Fort Pelosi – Capitol Police Now Admits There is No “Credible Threat” to Congress, Fortifications to Be Scaled Back

Headlines Politics U.S.

In a surprise development the Washington, D.C. Capitol Police has acknowledged there is no credible threat to members of Congress and that the barricades that have surrounded the Capitol Building for about two months will be moved. Some of the fortifications will be drawn closer to the building allowing pedestrian and street traffic on some adjacent roadways to resume.

“There does not exist a known, credible threat against Congress,” a security memo sent to U.S. lawmakers from USCP on Monday reads. As a result of the new assessment inner-perimeter fencing will be “repositioned” closer to the Capitol Building and the razor wire will be removed.

The admission comes as a surprise as just two weeks ago the Acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda D. Pittman announced “intelligence” had been received which indicated militias supportive of President Trump were plotting to blow the Capitol Building up and to kill as many lawmakers as possible.

There was speculation about the veracity of those reports however, as many supporters of the President were urging each other publicly to steer clear of not just Washington, D.C. but even their own state capitals. The rhetoric about such intelligence was being used as an excuse to keep troops in DC permanently it was believed.

Those suspicions were reinforced last week when it was learned that Joe Biden’s Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had overruled National Guard Chief of Bureau Pete Hokanson’s recommendations and ordered troops to remain in D.C. until at least May.

Hokanson’s concerns stem from what he believes is an overstretch of the force amid competing demands on troop missions. He wrote finding other options for security was “highly preferable to requesting involuntary mobilizations under the present circumstances” in an internal Pentagon memo written on March 4.

But the “green-zoning” of the Capitol had become much harder to defend in recent days as even prominent Democrats began questioning troop and barricade presence.

“We cannot have the Capitol complex closed off from the people permanently,” said D.C. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton earlier this month. “There are state-of-the-art ways to protect the complex without fencing, which makes the United States look like a totalitarian regime trying to keep its own people out.”

Numerous requests to the White House, the USCP and members of Congress by ITN about the intelligence on threats reportedly received have gone unanswered. Requests for comment sent to the White House and the USCP today about the sudden about-face on those threats have also gone unanswered.

  1. This is a theater review, not an account of reality. The Capitol Police have no real authority because Washington DC is under martial law. President Trump is the commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces, and Congress knows this. If Congress had a say in the matter, all of the National Guard soldiers and fencing would have been removed on January 21. Congress knows that they are the ones under guard and the corrupt ones, maybe 60-80%, see the military as the real threat.

I criticized Gen. Flynn for praising President Lincoln a few days ago because he decided to not arrest the politicians and military officers who had engaged in a war against the Union. Yesterday, however, Flynn did an about-face, and vowed that the criminals would pay for their crimes either here on earth or in hell. (His grammar was wrong–he said they would “get accountability”–but the message was right.) It is no coincidence that the Myanmar Armed Forces announced they would impose the death penalty for those who conspired with George Soros to commit treason; they are clearly acting under the protection of the U.S. military.

On another note, the public finally has proof that all of Biden’s public appearances aren’t public at all, that computer-generated images are being used. Along with the fact that neither the planes Biden rides in nor the planes Harris rides in emit the required AF1 and AF2 call signals, the CGI mistake in which his hands go in-between the camera and the reporters’ microphones should wake a few more people up . Even Clowns in America outlet Newsweek is beginning to draw the curtain, no doubt because it knows what’s coming. https://www.newsweek.com/joe-biden-green-screen-twitter-white-house-immigration-1576743
