Error Rate of 60% Found in Georgia Ballot Inspection, 100X Normal Rate

Election integrity activists have discovered widespread voting irregularities in Fulton County, Georgia – the state’s largest county and home to metro Atlanta. The irregularities include an unusually high ballot error rate, falsified tally sheets and ballots that had been counted multiple times.

The findings were announced by Garland Favorito, head of VoterGA, an election integrity group based in Georgia, during a press conference on Tuesday, and then reiterated during a conference call with supporters this morning.

Favorito and other Georgians have been trying to obtain scanned images of ballots in Georgia for months. State officials there have been obstructing that review, most recently by using questionable legal maneuvers.

The findings revealed this week, which were of scanned images already in the public record, are likely to increase the pressure on state officials to conduct a full forensic audit of ballots cast in the November 2020 election similar to the one being conducted by officials in Arizona.

Revealed through the analysis conducted by VoterGA was an error rate of 60% for ballots cast. That number is about 100 times what the normal error rate should be: a fraction of one percent. The analysis also revealed tally sheets that erroneously listed vote counts for individual candidates as well as total votes cast, and that thousands of ballots were reported and counted multiple times.

Those falsified tally sheets were used by Fulton County to report election results to the State, which were then published by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office as official audit results late last year.

Importantly, Favorito stressed Raffensperger and other state officials have long known about the irregularity.

“The Secretary of State and the election officials in Fulton County, they’ve known about this for months. Long before these ballot images were made public. They’ve had this information for 7-8 months,” Favorito said during the call this morning.

Some Georgia state officials have already gone on record as saying if ballot inspections reveal significant fraud they will move to decertify electors who cast votes for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the Electoral College on January 6th.

Less than 13,000 votes currently separate President Trump and Joe Biden in the State.
