House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) ended a conference call with members after he says someone began leaking the contents of the call to the press.
McCarthy was outlining plans to block Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s unanimous consent proposal for $2,000 stimulus checks. President Trump called for such a proposal this week.
“There is a New York Times reporter live-tweeting this,” McCarthy reportedly said before ending the call, noting that members may feel constrained to discuss the plans.
….and @GOPLeader terminated the call after revealing the leaks

The original stimulus check amount was $600 per person before Mr. Trump struck it down saying the entire stimulus package gave too much to wasteful programs and not enough to Americans.
